1. What time did you get up this morning?

Right after the Canadian national anthem. It seems the French CBC has started to play the national anthem in the mornings. This weirds me out, as I tend to be “at attention” when I wake up, IYKWIM.

2. How do you like your steak?

Rare, almost blue and comp’d.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?

It started like this:

Crazy, Stupid, Love. It was okay.

4. What is your favorite TV show?

Arrested Development, even if it’s been off the air forever.

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?

I used to instantly write down “Scotland” at this question whenever I did this kind of meme, but that was before I went there for a couple of weeks. So not that I’ve actually been to Scotland, my answer is Scotland.

6. What did you have for breakfast?

A bagel with cream cheese. I’ll have an espresso soon.

7. What is your favorite cuisine?

The Pizza I make.

8. What foods do you dislike?

Liver. I saw an autopsy and there is absolutely no way to tell a human liver from a beef liver. So I stopped eating liver. Liver is people. Picture above, a human liver. Kidding it’s a beef liver. Or is it? See, you can’t tell the difference.

9. Favorite Place to Eat?

It varies, depending on what style of stuff I want, weather and what I’m wearing. Right now for casual lunch it’s a little place called Freshii that just open near my workplace. For the more fancy stuff I love Play Food & Wine in the Market, but I went to many restaurants this week and they were all my favorites.

10. Favorite dressing?

I prefer undressing.

11.What kind of vehicle do you drive?

I drive a big orange Nissan SUV.

13. Where would you visit if you had the chance?

Now that I’ve done Scotland, I think my next target is either Alaska, Bora-Bora or Japan. We’re planning Italy for next summer as a family, so it’ll have to be after that.

15. Where would you want to retire?

I’m not sure. I’m guessing someplace warm… Hell?

16. Favorite time of day?

The moment when I have nothing to do. Like that ever happens.

In Canada. Duh.

Hockey – I was born in Canada. Football as a close second, since I played in High School.

It really varies. Sometimes I enjoy getting up at 5, sometimes I enjoy going to bed at 5. As long as it’s not on the same day. Although I used to love going 3-4 days without sleeping.

An architect. I really love drawing buildings, for some weird reason.

Yes, yes I do. Except for the 40 hours a week I have to be there.

“I honestly don’t know.” is the answer I gave 100% of the time.

I guess I’m not obsessed with numbers – ha! That’s a first; me not obsessed with something – as much as other people. I don’t measure my “success” as a blogger by some mathematical equation *cough* Klout *cough* or by some complex and colorful graphs automatically generated.

I measure my success by the amount of parenthesis, asterisks, semi-colons, quotes and badly constructed sentences I can come up in a post with. And italics. don’t forget the italics.

Seriously, I think for me the best measure of success is the number of comments I get on any given post. I don’t even need hundreds of comments to be happy, even just one comment makes my day. I like to interact with people. I’m a sucker for some good communication.

After being asked once more this morning about the amount of visitors I get in a day, I figured that any self respecting geek like me would be able to figure out how to get on the Google Analytics train, and finally be able to reply “Some random number” instead of “I honeslty don’t know.” when asked about my readership.

Note to self: I need to come up with some sort of a name for my readers, like Ferguson with his “Robot Skeleton Army”, Glee with their “Gleeks” and Avitable with his “Fuckers”. I’m thinking I’ll call you “TheSombres” or maybe “Canadianans”, what do you think? Suggestions?

What happened on January 14, 2011? I installed a new template, and promptly forgot to add the GA code to the new template. It’s either that, or you don’t love me anymore, so excuse me while I live in denial for a little while, because the alternative is too painful.

Day 29 – In this past month, what have you learned?

Bwhaaa haaaa haaaaa! Learn something, moi?

Seriously, I did learn some things over the pas month:

• I can totally grow a moustache. Who knew I had it in me!
• I can totally raise 5,000$ for (well, against really) prostate cancer, with the help of a few friends.
• I can totally take kick-ass pictures with my iPhone in the bathroom at work.
• I can totally pretend taking pictures in the bathroom is the most normal thing ever if someone walks in on me while I’m doing it.
• I look really hot with glasses.
• Close-up of moustaches can really freak out some people. Hi Poppy and Finn!
• I have really kind eyes.
• Nobody sees my unibrow.
• If I put my mind to do something, I can totally do it. As long as it doesn’t really require any effort on my part.
• Nobody reads blogs on weekends.

That’s funny,because I did this with a 2 year difference last August. I sent this picture to a friend, asking “Do you see a difference?” and he said that I look less gay now. He wishes!

This is going to sound like a cop-out, but “why not?” is really the first thing that popped in my head. I mean, what else was I going to do here? Batman/Robin strips for 30 days? Seriously, I was looking for something to kick-start the old blogging muscle again, and there was this “30 days of truth” thing floating around – which I briefly considered until this other version came along. This one seemed more fun, and combining it with growing a moustache for 30 days seemed really silly.
