Marc, J-F & Me
My guilty pleasure is not “guys”. It’s looking for people I have not seen in ages online… and finding them!
In this picture (taken last Thursday), I’m having beers with Marc and J-F. Both J-F and I had not seen Marc in 24 years – and it turns out that he lives about 15 minutes away from my place. I found Marc through LinkedIn.
A couple of years ago, I found J-F on Facebook. I had not seen him in 22 years, and he literally lives less than 2 miles from my house, and had been living there for the past 10 years. We spent 10 years going to the same grocery store, the same movie theater, the same pubs without ever meeting up.

Aww – that’s awesome! Funny to be so close and have no idea!!
It’s the one thing I love about Facebook.
This made me laugh. “Not guys.” You forgot “not that there’s anything wrong with that.”
I had actually wrote the “not that there’s anything wrong with that” line, but I’ve used it so much before that it felt old…
