Lost and found

So tonight was interesting. My younger niece was briefly lost and then found about 45 minutes later.

In those 45 minutes, we left the hockey game and drove to my parents house. The cops were already there. As we got out of the car they immediatly told us that she had been found.

She got lost walking through the woods trying to get to a friends house.

Alone.

At night.

At least it was more engaging than the hockey game. But apparently the Saints came back from 1 – 3 after one to win 6 – 4. Go Saints!

And Amy: Stay out of the woods.

    How old is this niece that she had everyone freaking out? Glad she made it safely. I’ve been lost for decades and no one has called the police or nuthin’.

    My cousin, who was about 15 at the time, went with a friend into the woods behind my parents’ house. They were warned repeatedly not to go in too far, but they did, anyway. They got LOST, and the police, fire trucks, news stations and a frigging helicopter were all out, trying to find them. They were located and kind of helped out about 4 hours later!! Hahaha – it makes me laugh, really, because they thought they were too cool for school. (I say kind of helped out because even the police dogs had trouble getting back there because the brush was so thick!)
    Anyway, glad your niece had a happy ending. It’s scary!!

    Has she never watched New Moon? Freakin’ Bella gets lost in the woods all the time and has to get rescued by a wolf. Geesh.
