I get a whole bunch of spam comments around here. Most of the time, I just delete the comments after going through them – I blame my OCD but it helps me catch a few of real comments in there, yes I’m looking at you Ren by the way. 
Anyways, spammers are getting craftier by the day.

123,026 spams caught, 7,168 legitimate comments, and an overall accuracy rate of 99.891%
Since I started blogging in 2006, only 130 out of 130,000 comments got through akismet. So in a thousand. That’s pretty good.
Oh by the way, I was in our company breakroom yesterday and ocljlwijlmcds asked me to say hi. He said you’ve been ignoring him lately and wanted to see if I could break the ice so he could be a part of your life again. You are so right on the spammers getting smarter. Although the spam that gets caught on my blog is still from stupid spammers, with the random names and 120 links to viagra and cialis.
