Inglorious Basterds and District 9 are, by far, the best movies of 2009. Saw them both.

I just saw “From Paris with Love.”

It was one of those moives that didn’t need to be made. The lead character who wasn’t John Travolta delivered some wooden lines. There was never a moment of suspense. You never gave a sh*t about any of the characters. There were no surprises.

Yet … it was a lot of fun.

@MartyMankins: I forgot about Inglorious Basterds. I think the opening sequence with Monsieur Lapadite was the highlight of the movie. The rest of it was good, but it wasn’t that great.
