Monday Monday

You know the day will be a great day when it starts by scaring the crap out of LovelyWife. I didnt do anything weird I tell you, I was just casually walking back up the stairs as she was getting out of the bedroom, we met on top of the stairs and her crap was scared. What can I tell you, Im a scary dude.

In other LeSombre news, CutieDaughter visited a private high school Sunday. If I can mommyblog for a bit: I cant believe that my CutieDaughter is already at the stage of her life where she will be costing me that much money. Oh damn. That wasnt mommyblogging, that was more daddyblogging I guess. Sorry! All kidding aside, Im very proud of CutieDaughter. See, I can mommyblog. ;-)

Im going App Store crazy. How do you people sleep? I pretty much spent the weekend browsing the App Store.

Also, I typed this whole post on my iPhone. When I was offered an iPhone, getting used to the lack of a physical keyboard was my biggest worry. I even thought about getting one of those iPhone pens. I must say that even my short stubby fingers can work the keyboard fairly easily.

  1. My husband is always sneaking up on me and scaring the merde (sp?) out of me, as well.

    MEN!

James swears by iPhone Alley (http://www.iphonealley.com/).

I love scaring people. It’s so fun!

I end up scaring Marci like that occasionally. It’s almost always funny, even though I’m profusely apologizing. Unless it was on purpose, which it almost never is. I used to scare my younger daughter on purpose, but her reaction is so over-the-top that I stopped.

What is it with men scaring their significant others. It’s a favourite pasttime of my Mike as well…

Also, so jealous of the iPhone. It’s probably best I don’t have one, really. I’d never get anything done what with all the app hunting…

It is REALLY hard to scare me, but my husband manages to do it at least once a week. doing pretty much nothing but walking in unexpectedly.

@CMG: LOL. “Merde” is correct. Too correct in fact – we normally use “Marde”.

@Avitable: Thanks for the the link. I love scaring people too, but it’s even funnier when it’s not planned.

@Ren: My wife’s family – all of them – have really strong reactions when hearing loud noises. It’s a hobby of mine.

@Suze: Hey, I didn’t do it on purpose. So when we meet for coffee, I’ll show you my iPhone from afar only.

@Sybil Law: Once a week? That would make you easy to scare, no? LOL.

  7. Nat says:

Are you thinking of sending her St. Jo’s?

My dad pulled me out of there for scaring the nuns. ;)

@Nat: Well, we’re not thinking anything really. But CutieDaughter wanted to visit Nouvelles Fontières. However, scaring the nuns sounds like fun!
