I was watching VH1 the other day when the opening bits to “Ticket to Ride” started. From a distance it looked like concert footage from an arena. An instant later I could tell it was from Guitar Hero (or whatever the Beatles thing is) … it was well done, but disappointing.
We have a Wii at work … I have one at home. I never play either. I used to spend hours in front of a Commodore 64 playing games. I just can’t get into the consoles.

Oh, The Wii Resort game looks really good and I can’t wait to get it. Of course I have to actually buy a Wii first.

And this is why I refuse to buy a gaming system. My butt would attach itself to the couch and I’d never leave. Seriously.

I’ve already gotten three hole in ones on tiger woods pga 10. AND have beaten, SOUNDLY beaten, micah each time we’ve played.
Of course HE is using the motion plus and I’ve got all my settings on easy, but STILL
I win.

Can I play Guitar Hero with you?

@BPR: I got a hole in one during the tutorials, but not during the game. I also use the Wii Motion Plus. That thing makes it really hard!
@Lynda: Of course!
Guitar Hero: No.
Wii Resort: No.
Tiger Wood: Yes.

Wii Resort looks fantabulous! Maybe I’ll have to check that out when I’m not too busy with watching tv and all that.

@Avitable: My son loves the sword fighting. I like the archery.
@Delmer: You have a Wii at work? Are you hiring?
@Hilly: TV is pretty dead around here in the summer. Once the fall season starts, I’ll have to cut back on the Wii time.
@THE BROTHER: Whatever floats your boat, dude.

@Hello Haha Narf: Meh, I read you have a plethora of other ways to have a good time.
@Whall: Good? As my friend Tony would say, you’re Grrrrrr-rrrrrr-rrreat!

@CMG: Well, all these games are played standing up, flailing your arms like a mad man/woman. That helps me avoid some of the guilt.
