My dad turns 61 today.
Over the past few years, I made a few blog posts about my dad’s birthday. Some funny, some emotional, some just plain meh, most of them lost on a old hard drive somewhere. I’m thinking that “59 reasons I love my Dad” was probably my best work.
This year I’m going with plain dumb:
Let us begin.
Turning 50 61 is a monumental event in a man’s life.
Some men have been known to be traumatized by reaching the half 61% century mark.
And with this in mind dear father I’d like to make you feel more comfortable about your age.
And so, LeSombre proudly present:
Things that are older than dad!
This is dad. He’s 50 61.

Some might think 50 61 is old, but they are things that are even older.

Fire
Dirt
All these older items have one thing in common, they have proven themselves through the test of time, and we need them very much.
