I’m still off!

Oh wow. I’m still on vacation today. ::w00t!::

But here’s a little weekend recap for you. 

Friday: Parental Units came to visit. My mom is a Cappuccino addict. We sat around, talked, forced my dad to play Guitar Hero. I took my mom shopping for some books. My mom is a book addict. Had some ham & potatoes, wine, some Scotch and then went to bed. It was great!

Saturday: We got up, had breakfast. Parents left. We then took the kids to get a Nintendo DS. They had been saving their money and now had enough to get one if they pooled their money together. We surprised them by getting them one each. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and cooking pizza. Then we watched the hockey game and I cried and my allergies acted up. Montreal still makes the playoffs, but that first round is going to be a killer.

Sunday: Got up had breakfast. The women of the house went to see Hannah Montana while the men stayed home and played video games. We gave the kids some chocolate. I spent the day reading Mort and catnapping in the living room. We had dinner, and then the kids watched the Princess Bride while LovelyWife watched Zack and Miri make a Porno, which of course reminded me of Avitaween. ;-)

Now it’s Monday, and I have nothing planned for today! Yay me! ;-)

Edit: Apparently, I can’t spell Montreal. Thanks DutchBitch and Whall for the heads up. But what were you expecting? I’m still off! ;-)

    @DutchBitch, Motreal is the pain reliever you take when you get one of those “crying headaches” once you realize your team isn’t going to make it.

    I love long weekends. I spent all day today learning css, thanks to a kind, generous someone who loaned me a tutorial… ;)

    So, is the Princell Bride anything like the Princess Bride?
