- Royal Visit: You guys remember my mom, right? I mention her from time to time and recently Avitable made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. There’s a picture below if you don’t remember. Well my mom (and my dad) is coming to visit this long week-end. I’ll try to take this opportunity to update her picture, as this one is from last Christmas. Anyways, my parents are supposed to get here Friday around lunchtime. Expect lack of LeSombre presence online.
- Radio (no) Show: I haven’t been keeping up any of the awesome radio shows I normally follow. Poppy and NYCWD’s Lick, Slam, Suck on Monday, Janelle’s The Oh! Snap Show on Tuesday, Miss-Britt and Avitable’s Clearly, You’re Retarded on Wednesday, Karl’s SecondHand Radio on Thursday. I apologize to everyone – obviously, my presence in the chat rooms is what makes these shows awesome.
- I single-handedly saved the stove: Of course, LovelyWife helped. And by “helped” I mean “stood close by telling me to be careful with the X-acto knife and then went to bed”. You think I’m afraid she will try to burn down the house again? Try? Do, or do not. There is no try. I think after this bullet I have more chance to get stabbed with the X-acto knife in my sleep. Only one question remains: How the heck do you clean between the glass panes???
- Snow-go: we had some white stuff Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It’s amazing how quickly we forget. It looks like drivers already forgot how to drive in the snow after only a week of no snow, and one centimeter was enough to cause havoc on the roads. Hey, you bad drivers: Your Canadian cards are revoked effective immediately.
- Discworld: I’m about 100 pages into Mort and I can tell I will like these books.
In pure Call of Cthulhu tradition, I’ll keep the last bullet for myself for when the madness gets here Friday around lunchtime.
Dude, if you give me an ottoman, I’ll totally tell you how to clean between the glass.
