I normally dream of pretty regular stuff. My dreams are – most of the tiime – boring. I once dreamt that I was grocery shopping. I also dreamt I was driving for a long long time.
But not this week-end!
Saturday night
I dreamt that me and two other guys that I didn’t know where prisonner of a female demon in human form. The whole goal of the guys was to get the hell away from that demon, but she kept appearing as we’re running out of the appartment, catching us as we’re jumping out the window, etc.
We decided to make a break for it while she was in the shower. That’s when she ran out of the shower – in demon form, complete with horns, wings and spiked tail – and grabbed us all and ripped our heads.
For some reason, I was not one of the three guys anymore when that happened.
I wake up.
Sunday night
I am a Sniper. I have to go up to the 3rd floor of an apppartment building to get a better view of the street, and I’m supposed to kill a woman who looks like Lois in Family Guy. But I have trouble opening the empty appartment door and when I finally get inside the landlord walks in with a couple to show them the appartment. He sees me and I have to kill them all. I run back down to the street level and grab a handgun with a laser sight on.
I wake up.
So, any dream experts out there? What does that mean? Does it mean anything?
As a related aside, I always know when I’m dreaming. For example, during the “Sniper” dream, the “landlord seing me” sequence was replayed over and over – I was trying to hide myself better each time. After 4-5 times, I decided I couldn’t hide and proceeded with the rest of the dream. Weird huh?

I’d say you play too many video games but that would depend on if you’re a gamer at all. Are you? Maybe we should turn these concepts into video games!
kapgars last blog post..How long before you let me go…
They say what you eat before dinner can effect your dreams. Did you eat anything that you don’t normally eat over the weekend? I’m not sure if that is true.
Or I’m with Kapgar… you playing a lot of video games/ reading crazy ass books?
I had a dream this weekend where I was swimming and floating forever and then found this crazy sand thing under the water and this whole group of fellow swimmers. It was crazy werid and I woke up and was like, “WTF was that about?” But I always have werid dreams.

And over the weekend, I downloaded Marilyn Manson’s Sweet Dreams. Weird huh?

@Kapgar: I do play some video games, and that could probably explain the demon one – although it looked more like a D&D Tiefling than an actual demon now that I think of is – as I’m playing Hellgate London at the moment.
@Janelle: Nah, I eat pretty much anything – except liver – so that is most likely not a factor. Marylin Manson Sweet Dreams version is awesome. That’s what I had in mind with the title, and that’s what’s playing now in the background.
I have a hard time deciphering between a “weird” dream and a “normal” dream anymore.
Weird for me is when I don’t have a nightmare.
Sheila (Charm School Reject)s last blog post..I’m Not Ready
@SheilaCSR: I’m pretty sure the demon one was supposed to be a nightmare, but since I always know when I’m dreaming, I’m never really scared. I’m puzzled at best. Which is pretty much my normal state of being, come to think of it.
Interesting dreams. Especially the demon one. I usually don’t remember my dreams, unless its a nightmare or if it involves my children. But I will admit, getting a gun with a laser site on it is a pretty good move on the sniper’s part:)
Beckys last blog post..Quick Update
When I do remember my dreams, they’re usually really weird. They’re never the norm. If I figure out mine I’ll let you know.
I usually know when I’m dreaming, too. Most of the time I can control the dream and where it’s going. It’s weird.
Elizabeths last blog post..You might not know that I
@Becky:LOL! I’m smart in my dreams.
@Elizabeth:I know what you mean, thanks for dropping by my little corner of the blogosphere.
I’m not sure even a dream expert could help you with those.
My dreams get weird whenever any cuddling with women comes about. I always realize they’re dreams at the point and wake up.

@Delmer: And I only publish the more normal dreams I had. You should see the ones I keep for myself!
